The healing nature of warm water is long established. Water helps to reduce the effects of gravity on the body. It also provides natural resistance to help muscles work harder while putting less stress on the body. When warmed to 88 degrees Fahrenheit or more, water helps people who have muscle, bone, orthopedic and neurological conditions. It relaxes muscles and ligaments while promoting flexibility. Exercise that would otherwise be painful or not possible on land may be comfortably done in warm water.
